driver in device manager method..click on ur GMA propertise in device manager update driver and choose the inf manually and select the driver, it should be fine. I had lowest FX option with 800x600 res, no view distance. I also had some graphics mod that increased graphics quality but the game ran ok still. As for star wars battlefront 2, it lags like that because of no Hardware TnL i guess. I guess it translates the game or something but I only noticed that the 2min lag thing only happened on comps with sucky GPU's. graphics driver to the Microsoft Corporation - Prerelease WDDM 1.0 (8.15.10.1749) through Windows Update. I went into Device Manager and went into Display Adapters and clicked on Properties for the 945 and I clicked Update Driver... and I navigated to the driver folder and it says: The best driver software for your device is already installed. And, I can't uninstall the Windows-Update-Installed graphics driver. OK Cool. Now, after locating the modded inf, it says: Select the device driver you want to install for this hardware. These are the options: Which one do I choose? Hello again, GTA: San Andreas lags if I change Visual FX Quality from Low to Medium,  High or Very High. Now, I can understand it lagging when I put it on Very High or even High, but on Medium? Come on! Oh, and the resolution is on 800x600x32, my laptop screen's highest resolution is 1280x800. So 800x600x32 should be OK for GTA: SA right? Is there ANY way I can fix the lag? Yes, I have modded drivers.
