I swear to god, ATVI better not stop supporting the PS3. I have one and I like it a lot. Plus I hate Microsoft and I don't want them to become the dominant hardcore gaming platform (meaning non-Nintendo platform).

current prices. The technology in them is just to expensive to produce. They already took out the extra media ports and the backwards compatibility that the original models had in order to cut costs. I don't know what else they can take out of it. On Jun 19, 12:06 pm, Crawdad <

on every xbox 360 sold. That's the nature of the business these days. Unfortunately, Sony never seems to have the courage to do what needs to be done to win a war correctly. Even one rare battle that they did win (blu-ray) is proceeding sluggishly simply because most people see it as being too expensive (p_layer_s and media). If Sony were Microsoft, or Google, or ANYONE else, the PS3 would be $299, and blu-ray movies would be MSRP $20, and selling for $14.99 on release day. But, they are not those companies. Instead they seem to be happy to fight long, drawn out battles where they bleed for year upon year before abandoning hardware and software protocols... betamax, memory stick, UMD, and possibly now, PS3/ bluray... By the way, I own a PS3, and many blu-ray movies and I LOVE them. This gives me the right to complain about problems with both the platform, and the price structure. On Jun 19, 12:21 pm, UUUberMan <

Anyway, I also own a PS3 and think bluray movies look amazing (watch Planet Earth in bluray and you'll never be able to watch it on dvd again). Sony made a bad misstep in this generation of consoles, they went for higher power at a correspondingly higher price only to find that consumers weren't willing to pay the extra money for it. I don't think they'll be able to turn it around this generation, but hopefully they'll learn in time for the next one. Of course bluray is really expensive right now, just as DVD p_layer_s and media were when they first came out. The real danger for Sony is that bluray will likely be the last of the physical media formats, and if it doesn't start selling soon, people may skip over bluray entirely. On Jul 1, 12:34 pm, Nicnac <
