gameboy gamecube player How to use eReader/Gamecube/GameBoy Player/Pokemon Ruby combination?
I've got a Gamecube and a GameBoy P_layer_.  I'd like to use my eReader to scan Pokemon Ex cards (the one with the dot codes) into my Pokemon Ruby cartridge.  I would try to do this by (1) attaching the eReader to the Gamecube, (2) using a _link_ Cable to _link_ the eReader on my Gamecube to my Gameboy Advance SP, (3) putting the Pokemon Ruby cartridge in the GBA, (4) turning on both systems, (5) scanning a Pokemon Ex card, (6) going to the menu option on the eReader that lets you connect to your GBA, (7) initiating a connect , (8) going, in Pokemon Ruby, to a Pokemon Center, to the 2nd floor, (9) going to either the trade desk or the battle desk and trying to connect. It doesn't matter how many times I do this, I can't seem to get either system to recognize the other.  The Gamecube says it's connecting, but the GBA doesn't acknowledge it.  The GBA says it's trying to connect but never displays a connection.  Now, the GBA I have does connect to another GBA running Pokemon Sapphire, so I know that both the games and the _link_ Cable work (and also the _link_ ports on the GBA's). What am I doing wrong?  Is my order of connecting wrong?  I'd appreciate it if someone could post a walk-thru on how to scan eReader cards into Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire via the Gamecube. Thanks!
