ps3 motion Playstation Magazine video proves Sony lied about PS3 rumble/motion
A video podcast from _PlayStation Magazine_ proves how Sony's PS3 motion sensing controller is NOT so revolutionary after all, by demoing a Pelican motion sensing controller created in _1999_ with the original Warhawk for the PS1. Moreover, the rumble feature actually WORKS with these controllers from 1999! This proves that Sony was lying through its teeth when it said that rumble and motion sensing were not possible due to interference. See the video clip at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cOBtMMWteA&e BTW, the reviewer from Playstation Magazine also admits that playing using the motion sensor is rather tiring. It's funny how even Playstation Magazine is ripping Sony over its lies.

Oh Hell!  You just opened the gates to Hades.  Our not-so-friendly neighborhood troll is going to lose his marbles.  Expect the words: xflop, fanbitch, fucktard, asshole, bitch, retard, loser and/or motherfucker to be thrown at you and/or PSM.  Also expect your nick to be twisted into something negative like: Imatard or Imaturd.  He will also make up some tired excuse as to why technology that worked nearly a decade ago cannot possibly be used today.  He is going to bash PSM magazine by saying something like Lately PSM magazine has gone downhill, blah, blah, blah... .  He will attack the journalist on a personal level and call him fat, stupid, ugly, fanboy, etc.  He is going to google the journalist's name and search relentlessly until he can find any shred of anything to discredit him.  He will try and back up all of his negative comments by saying things like Several people have commented that... or Many in the past have commented that... when no one actually said anything.  He will then try and switch the subject by trying to point out flaws in the Wii or the 360.  He will do all of these things but he will never consider that Sony may have lied about their reason to exclude rumble as a feature of the PS3 controller.

Correct, this is the only and true reason why they did it, I don't know why they just don't say so, instead of saying it was because it interfered with the motion detector.

True, the PS1 motion sensing controller from 1999 was not wireless, but Sony's excuse for not being able to include force feedback with the PS3 had nothing to do with wireless technology. Instead, Sony simply claimed that force feedback would not work with motion sensing. You'd think that if it could have been done 6 years ago, it could be done even better today.
