Oddfeld, did you really mean to say this? I believe you missed the point. �This is a Playstation emulator, not a PSX emulator. ANd PSX is what everyone and his dog has been abbreviating Playstation as for the past 10 years. There are quite a lot of us who are not included in everyone , then. Just because Sony have released some new-fangled doohickey and decided to call it PSX doesn't change the fact that PSX is synonymous with Playstation or PSone or whatever the hell it is this week. Calling the PS a PSX is just confusing and misleading. Well I've only just learnt about this new machine tonight. You're right, calling the new PSX a PSX is confusing since you might mistake it for the Playstation, aka the PSX - nice one Sony. Try doing a search on 'PSX' on say consoledata_base_.com and let me know what machine it comes up with...

Calling the PS a PSX is just confusing and misleading. Tim (tm) PSX instantly means PS1 to me as well. It was very widely used. Pretty daft of them to call the new machine that..

Is there a PSX emulator for the Xbox and if so, what's the name? I have a ton of PSX games lying around which I can't use and some b'tard borrowed my Playstation and hasn't returned it. You can get a PS One for �50 now - cheaper still if you get a used one. WHSmiths may still have their 20 quid ones lying around.
